I finally finished reading Jane Eyre.  It was not good.  I made lots of weird noises when describing it to Limey.  I washed my brain out with the first three Hitchhiker's books.  I'm now reading Swann's Way (Proust).  

 Swann's Way is interesting.  I'm 10% through and pretty much nothing has happened.  It's all description and metaphor.  I read an article about Proust that said the best way to read his work is in small sittings of a handful of paragraphs.  The funny thing is, that a lot of sentences are a paragraph long! 

 I'm also reading So Long and Thanks for All the Fish.   I love the Hitchhiker's series.  I wish there were more of them.  

 I downloaded a bunch of free classics from the Kindle store.  Wuthering Heights seems to have an equal amount of love and hate being flung at it so I might read that next.  

 What are you reading this week?  Are there any classics that you love and recommend?
